Beverly M. Riddick is Executive Director of the Ready To Work Business
Collaborative (RTWBC), an employer-led coalition committed to development of
hiring best practices targeted at ready to work talent, long-term unemployed,
under-employed, veterans, people with disabilities and opportunity youth, who
are generally overlooked despite being re-skilled or up-skilled to meet the needs
of today’s evolving economy. Riddick is responsible for engaging and leveraging
collective action among employers, workforce intermediaries and policy makers
to develop and implement strategies that eliminate biases toward ‘disconnected’
job seekers.

Prior to RTWBC Riddick served as Executive Director of Homes of Montclair
Ecumenical Corp. (HOMECorp) for twenty years where she was responsible for
development and implementation of community revitalization programs and
initiatives targeted at low, moderate and middle income families. At HOMECorp
Riddick developed 112 affordable units for 400 people and provided financial
counseling for over 8,000 residents.

Riddick was a real estate/workout banking specialist from 1985-1996 serving as
Assistant Vice President at First National Bank of Boston (now Bank of America)
and later at Chemical Bank New Jersey (now PNC Bank). While at Chemical
she managed a $20 million portfolio in real estate loans and asset management

Riddick earned a BA in Urban Studies at Mount Holyoke College. She was later
awarded a twelve-month fellowship to the Coro Foundation. Riddick later
obtained a Master’s Degree in Public Policy Analysis at Claremont Graduate

Riddick has received of a number of awards including the Essex Community
Land Trust Community Service Award, Positive Community for Change Award,
Shirley Chisholm-Catalyst for Change Award, Women as Agents of Change
Award, US Congress Certificate of Congressional Recognition, Montclair
Economic Development Corp Community Award, and the National Council of
Negro Women Business Award. Riddick is married with 2 children and resides in
Montclair, New Jersey.
