Building Regional Talent Coalitions to Increase Economic Mobility and Access
This HUB will work specifically on building Regional Talent Coalitions with a focus on designing and implementing models that will effectively ensure access to the significant numbers of learners and job seekers currently being left behind. Led by Luther Jackson of NOVAworks (workforce board serving Santa Clara and San Mateo counties in California) and Phil Jordan (BW Research in Massachusetts), the HUB will create a strategic template that will lead to regional outcomes that inform and disrupt the broader workforce system. Currently, the talent coalition communities include Boston, New Orleans, Philadelphia and the San Francisco Bay Area, in collaboration with the Brookings Institution. Additional communities may be identified as a result of the HUB’s work.
