Amy Freedman

Amy Freedman worked in luxury retail and hospitality management before joining the Cleveland office of the US Commercial Service and becoming a Senior International Trade Specialist. She currently serves as Education Technology Subsector Team Lead for the International Trade Administration’s Global Education Team and is an active member of the Healthcare Technologies and Advanced Manufacturing teams. Ms. Freedman counsels northern Ohio companies on logistics, finance, market selection, and compliance considerations, whether they are beginning to export, or growing sales in foreign markets. She has had the privilege to lead trade missions to South America and Western Europe and attend trade shows for various industries throughout the country. She has worked with her colleagues around the world on industry resource guides, virtual events, and trade event programs. Ms. Freedman is a Certified Global Business Professional through NASBITE International.

Ms. Freedman holds dual bachelor’s degrees in International Business and International Relations, cum Laude, from Cleveland State University and Master of Science in International Public Policy from University College London.
