Biography
Christin Durham is a senior policy associate in the Income and Benefits Policy Center at the Urban Institute, where she conducts research and evaluation and provides technical assistance for projects related to workforce development, education and training for disadvantaged populations, and the safety net.
Durham is principal investigator for the evaluation of the Mississippi Integrated Basic Education and Skills Training initiative, and she is deputy director for the national evaluation of rounds 1–3 of the Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training grant program. Durham also leads ongoing development and technical assistance efforts for Urban’s online Local Workforce System Guide. Previously, she was co–project manager for the Child Care and Development Fund Policies Database and an analyst for the Transfer Income Model.
Before coming to Urban, Durham was program manager for a homeless shelter serving large families in Fairfax, Virginia, and she has collaborated on several projects related to programs and services for individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
Durham holds an MPP from George Mason University and resides in Austin, Texas.
