Biography

Joseph Kitterman is a nationally recognized education entrepreneur and founder and CEO of 180 Skills, LLC and 180 Skills Maker, an online technical school that delivers low cost, high value, industry-driven education that leads to great careers in the manufacturing sector. Prior to that Kitterman founded Oxygen Education and also worked for over 24 years in automotive and aerospace manufacturing.

His education companies have received numerous national awards for e-learning from the E-Learning Guild and Brandon Hall Research. Kitterman’s companies also received the Indiana Top 50 Companies to Watch award in 2008. During his 24-year career in manufacturing, he served in senior corporate level in manufacturing management positions with General Motors Allison Gas Turbine Division, Royal Oak Industries, GSC Manufacturing, and other manufacturing firms. Kitterman is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council at Purdue University School of Engineering at Indianapolis.

Kitterman holds a Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. He also studied with Dr. Edwards W. Deming at George Washington University.
