Biography
Justin Wolske has worked at the intersection of media, technology, and storytelling since the late 1990s. He is currently Adjunct Faculty and EIR at the Cal State LA Deptartment of Television, Film, and Digital Media and Nongshim Innovation Lab, respectively. He is also Co-Founder and EIR at Grid110, one of the major entrepreneurship hubs in Downtown Los Angeles. Finally, Justin is the Founder of Caseworx, an education platform focused on delivering the future of scenario-based learning. Caseworx has won awards from industry leaders like McGraw-Hill, the Milken Institute, and the University of Pennsylvania, and is an alum of the Penn EDSi and Village Capital accelerator programs.
Justin’s most recent scholarship revolves around the physiological effects of storytelling on the brain, and how to create pedagogy to harness deeper learning in the areas of situational awareness, emotional intelligence, and strategic decision making. He has presented his work in venues like CES, USASBE, San Diego State University, and Wharton Business School. He holds a BA in History from Indiana University and an MFA in Film Directing/Production from the University of California, Los Angeles. Justin is based in Long Beach, CA.
