Biography
Laurie Monfiletto is currently the HR Director for Los Alamos National Laboratory. As the leader of the Human Resources function, she is responsible for all Human Resources activities for the laboratory.
Laurie has filled a variety of positions in a number of different organizations. At PNM Resources in Albuquerque, the parent company of Public Service Company of New Mexico, Laurie served for over 11 years in a number of positions including Vice President and Treasurer, Vice President Human Resources, human resources director, and workforce planning and staffing director. As Vice President of Human Resources, she was responsible for all Human Resources strategy including workforce planning, employee development, talent management, compensation, executive compensation, benefits, and labor relations.
She was the human resources manager at Honeywell Federal Manufacturing and Technologies, an organization within the nuclear weapons complex, where she was responsible for all aspects of human resources in this multi-state business. Prior to that, she worked for Los Alamos Technical Associates, Inc., an engineering firm, as assistant vice president of human resources, Human Resources manager and Human Resources consultant. Laurie has also performed Human Resources work in nonprofit and city government organizations.
Monfiletto has a master’s of public administration in state and local finance and management from Syracuse University, and she graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in economics/political science from Illinois State University.
In her personal life, Laurie serves as a board member with Ronald McDonald House Charities and as chair of the board with Lovelace Women’s Hospital. Laurie resides in Santa Fe with her husband Tony.
